It provides sheltered walk-on moorings, deep water access and professional boatyard services for local and visiting yachts. Yachtport SA operates the largest Travelift facility in Southern Africa with capacity up to 100 tonnes and offers indoor workshops, hardstanding, technical services and support for monohulls and multihulls up to around 30 m LOA. The marina also offers logistical support to yachts visiting or working in the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.

Vessels approaching from Cape Town should follow the Saldanha Bay approach channels and keep in touch with harbour VHF guidance. The marina’s floating pontoons are accessible in deep water, accommodating vessels with significant LOA and beam. Prior notification to Yachtport SA is recommended for visitor berths and haul-out requirements.
