24/7 berth access

Stern-to berthing along the main and east quays with laid lines. The east quay is recommended — less congested and avoids the anchor-crossing issues common on the main quay. Do not moor on the ferry quay. Long-lining just outside the harbour is an option when quay berths are full. In July and August, aim to arrive by midday.

About this marina

Fiskardo is the northernmost village of Kefalonia and the most popular yacht stop in the northern Ionian. Unlike most of the island, the village survived the devastating 1953 earthquake intact, preserving its Venetian-era architecture and pastel-coloured houses that line the waterfront. The harbour attracts yachts, superyachts and charter fleets throughout the sailing season and becomes one of the busiest ports in the Ionian during July and August. Arriving early is essential in peak season. Despite the crowds, Fiskardo delivers on scenery, food and atmosphere, with high-quality restaurants, well-stocked supermarkets, boutique shops and marine services all within steps of the quay. It serves as a natural gateway to Ithaca to the east and Lefkada to the north.

Location & Arrival

Arrival by Sea

Approach Fiskardo from the south via the Kefalonia channel or from the north through the strait between Kefalonia and Ithaca. The entrance to the bay is clear of hazards. Stern-to berthing is available along the main quay and the east quay. The harbour master keeps the ferry and tripper boat quay free until late afternoon — do not moor there. The north shore offers anchorage in 10–12 metres with lines to shore rings. Call the port authority on VHF Channel 12 prior to arrival. In peak season arrive before midday to secure a quay berth.
